We are making appointments with the anticipated opening date of June 1st. To adhere to state and federal health regulations, we have made many changes to our daily operations. Though these changes are not inline with creating the Ultimate Shibui Spa experience, we are excited to invite you back to experience some sort of CALM in a safe environment.
We are opening slowly and cautiously with great anticipation for a brighter future. We are prepared to make swift operational adjustments to stay current with the ever-changing restrictions. Our hope is that our community will gain safety and we will slowly begin to lift restrictions.
We have received many requests for services that unfortunately will be restricted at this time. We do not know when some or any of these restrictions will be lifted but we will communicate any changes as soon as they come. This is new territory for all of us and our goal is to stay safe and increase the health of our clients. The healthier we are the faster we can lift restrictions. ONE DAY AT A TIME
Business Hours- 9am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays)
Our business hours have been adjusted and will continue to change as restrictions are lifted and business levels rise.
At this time, we are unable to take walk-ins or day use clients. We will only be treating clients with an appointment. Clients will be notified of their appointment time and must wait outside the spa for staff notification that it is your turn to enter the spa. You will be required to leave once your treatment is over.
If you feel sick (even a little) or have been around anyone who feels sick - please cancel your appointment. We are not currently enforcing our cancelation policy to allow last minute cancelations due to illness.
Please prepare for your spa treatment by arriving showered, hair washed, and in clean clothes. Currently Clients are not allowed access to showers at the spa. Hand washing and hand sanitation will be required when entering the spa, before a service, after a service, and all times in between when recommended.
Health Assessments for all Staff & Clients
Health assessments will be given over the phone before all appointments as well before entering the spa. This will include a series of questions and a temperature test. If any client or staff member answers YES to any of the health assessment questions or has a temperature above 100.3, you will have to reschedule your appointment or not be allowed work a shift. You may return once you have been symptom free and have recorded normal temperature readings for no less than 72 hours without medication or up to 14 days depending on the symptoms.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Please arrive at the spa wearing a mask and continue to wear a mask in all common areas of the spa. All staff and visitors will be required to wear a face mask.
Contactless Check-In and Check-Out
We are encouraging clients to complete intake forms online and to plan to pay with a credit card on file to produce contactless check in and out.
Social Distancing Requirements
To adhere to Social Distancing requirements, we will be limiting the number of clients in the spa at one time. This will allow for everyone to comfortably maintain at least six (6) feet of physical distance from others while in the common areas of the spa.
We are not permitted to have the hot tub, sauna, or showers available for our clients at this time. All self-serve amenities (water, tea, nuts, products, etc..) will not be on display. Our staff will have these things available to you on a one by one basis. Please communicate any needs.
Treatment option limitations
We have had to limit the treatment options available at this time. Below is a list of options currently NOT offered. Limiting our treatments allows us the ability to adhere to social distancing and contract tracing requirements. All other treatments listed on our menu will be available (subject to change).
- We are currently ONLY offering 60 min treatments. We will not be offering 90 min or 75 min or 30 min treatments at this time.
- We will not be offering Couples Massage at this time. You may start your appointments at the same time, but they will be in individual rooms.
- We will not be offering Spa Packages at this time. You will be unable to receive more than one treatment per visit.
- We will not be offering some add on treatments - hot or salt stones, hands & feet.
- We will not be offering Scrubs as they require a shower.
- We will not be offering 90 min Wraps.
Fortunately, sanitation is something we are familiar with and have many protocols already put in place. We have added extra precautions and are allowing extra time between clients to for additional sanitation. All rooms and common areas of the spa will be cleaned and sanitized between every client.
